Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp Web were down for some users this Thursday (8). On Twitter, netizens reported the problem . The DownDetector website also registered a peak of complaints from 6pm onwards.
On Instagram, neither the stories nor the feed loaded, the same was observed on Facebook. In both cases the problems were registered in the application. On WhatsApp, only the web version of the service showed instability.
The three networks belong to Facebook, but so far Mark Zuckerberg’s company has not commented on the matter. Around 6:50 pm, some users were already able to access the platforms. The first complaints started from 18h.
DownDetector had a peak of 4,814 complaints about Instagram around 6:00 pm, 5,179 reports related to Facebook and another 539 about WhatsApp down. The latter is lower precisely because the problem is only in the computer version of the messaging service.

Instagram was recently down on Android after a default app crash on Google’s operating system. Facebook and other apps had the same problem a few days earlier.
At the time, the crash occurred due to a problem in the Android System Webview application and when uninstalling the service, the errors stopped appearing. The Google has released an update to fix the problem .

On Twitter, Internet users complained about the error and joked about the fact that the platform, which does not belong to Facebook (unlike Instagram and WhatsApp), continued to work normally while the others were down.
