The Xiaomi should be the first manufacturer to announce a smartphone with a camera sensor 200 MP. The information came from a rumor that emerged on the Weibo social network and was found by the Android Authority website , but it makes sense according to recent brand moves.
According to speculation by user Digital Chat Station, the model will use a main 200MP rear sensor manufactured by Samsung — a novelty that may also appear on the Galaxy S22 , the next top-of-the-line in South Korean’s main cellphone family, with an announcement expected for the first quarter of next year.
It is worth remembering that Xiaomi was the brand that debuted another photographic module from the partner previously: the 108 MP sensor from Samsung , which first appeared on the Mi Note 10 .

For this new model from the Chinese, the processor must also be updated: an SM8450 component, possibly the successor to the Snapdragon 888, from Qualcomm . For now, there is no confirmation on which lineup is chosen for the device — it could be a model from the independent subbrand Redmi , a Mi Note or a conventional Mi smartphone, for example.
